NYE @ the ParkErcillo's

We spent NYE @ the ParkErcillo's. I got to hang out with A. Arlene, U. Dave, Kuya Joshy and Caleb again.  I also met Lola's Flor & Carol and Lolo's Narsing & Leo, Auntie's Jenny, Cathy, Desiree & Krystle, Uncle Anthony and Justice for the 1st time. I mostly napped while I was there but woke up enough to play with everyone for a little while.  Everyone loved my footed monkey pants. Mommy likes me wearing them because they keep my feet warm without mommy having to worry about me losing any socks. I guess mommy & daddy are getting old because we didn't stay until midnight - we spent that part of the night @ home. Happy New Year's everyone! This is going to be my best year yet. Mommy & daddy hope that my resolution is to sleep through the night.

Chase & Caleb Meet Again

On NYE, I got to hang out with my buddy Caleb again who is only a couple of weeks older than me.  I was a lil heavier than Caleb @ birth, but now we weigh about the same.  We didn't get to play too much since I slept a lot, but hope that we can play again soon.  Mommy & daddy and Auntie Arlene & Uncle Dave can't wait to see us run around with each other.  We'll probably follow Kuya Joshy around since he'll be showing us the ropes.

The Rose Bowl

Since it was such a nice day today, mommy & I decided to go to the Rose Bowl for our first walk.  This is where mommy used to train for her marathons. It was fun to see everyone get ready for the big parade and game. We walked for 3 miles, but I wanted to go home after 2.  Mommy stopped frequently during that last mile to sooth me so I would feel better.  

Chase Meets Babo

This is me with Babo - mommy & daddy call him my security doll, but I call him my new best buddy.  We met on 12/23 and we hang out a lot.  He seems to be there when I'm feeding & when I fall asleep. He might have a funny face and crazy hair, but he's a good friend. 

My 2 Month Birthday

I'm 2 months old today! We celebrated with a Whole Foods cup cake. I weigh 12 lbs 11 oz (75th percentile) and am 23 3/4 inches long (80th percentile).

Chase Meets the Carino's

I met the Carino family today! They were in LA visiting Disneyland and they stopped by for their last night in LA before they drove back to the bay area.  I got to meet Uncle George, Aunties Ruby & Grace, Kuya Mateo (mommy & daddy's godson), Nora, Lola Jean and Lolo George.

My first...Story time!

This is a picture of me & mommy during our 1st story time. We read the curious george counting book that Uncle Ritchie and Auntie Kathy gave me.  I'm only 10 days old, but already very alert. Books are fun! 

I love...having my hands near my face

I love having my hands near my face. Even when I was in mommy's belly, I had my hands on my face in my ultrasound pictures.  I don't like being swaddled because then I can't cuddle with my hands so mommy & daddy gave up on swaddling very quickly.  This is what I look like when I sleep. Mommy & daddy can't resist me. 

Mommy says: "My sweet angel, me & your dad want you to know that we love you so much! We remind ourselves all the time to enjoy every minute of these early days with you.  You have already stolen our hearts and every day we feel blessed to have you in our lives."

My Homecoming

I went home on Mon, 10/19. I was only 4 days old. This was the first time that mommy left her hospital room in 5 days. Mommy & daddy were nervous and excited and I was ready to see my new home.  The drive home was long and tough for daddy because he & mommy were very sleepy.  One of the CNA's escorted us all out to make sure we made it to our car safe and sound.  Mommy & daddy were sad to say good-bye to the great service & care they had at St. Joseph's, but happy to be able to go home. I wore the robot outfit that Auntie Ruby, Uncle George, Kuya Mateo and Nora gave me for my baby shower.
